Excellent Customer Service! This was our first time using a mobile groomer and we were not disappointed! They were able to do same day appointment and were giving us an updated ETA throughout the day. Bonnie did wonders! She was very patient and caring towards our nervous Lemmy. He came back looking and smelling great! Bonnie sent us pictures during his spa treatment, which was very cute. He even got a cute holiday bandanna! MJ (the owner) made sure to check in with us after Bonnie left to make sure we were satisfied. Lemmy will definitely be a returning customer. Convenient, courteous, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

I am so impressed with MJ‘s! I have never used a mobile pet grooming service before. I adopted Buster from a rescue, he is a senior and a very sweet boy, however I have never taken him for grooming and decided that mobile grooming would be the best option. Ali arrived right at 9 AM as scheduled and was very kind and gentle with Buster, after 90 minutes Buster was groomed and fully dry, and looked absolutely amazing. He also had his teeth brushed and was thoroughly happy and seemed to enjoy the whole experience. I highly recommend Ali and MJ’s - will use request him again next time!

I don’t even know where to begin...I have 3 dogs and I’ve had other Mobil groomers come out to my house but every time they would come my dogs would run away, they would shake profusely and whine. I told Mj about this when I first contacted him and he said not to worry, that my dogs were in the best hands and they were. My dogs don’t whine or shake anymore, they go rt to them and even after their baths my dogs will follow them back out to their truck. It’s the best feeling in the world to know that someone truly cares about their job and your pet. I can’t say enough. Thank you very much!!!!

I’m new to the area and after reading all the glowing reviews of MJs grooming salon I had to give them a try. They are great! They treat my Tinkerbelle like a little VIP. She always looks soft and clean and fluffy. They are friendly, professional, punctual and the place looks very clean. You are able to view the grooming area from the waiting room.. which is not something you are able to view at most other grooming salons. I’m very happy with my experiences with them. They are my dog’s Orange County groomers:)

Have been taking my dog here for the last couple months and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I could not be happier with the service and care I receive at MJs. My dog always comes out looking and smelling cleaner than any other pet spa. Also, their groomers seem to really know what they are talking about and give great cuts. The owners are really nice and are genuinely good people. Would highly recommend to anyone with a pet. Prices are comparable to other spas in the area.

We just had our Golden Retriever groomed for the first time by Bonnie. My dog is very nervous usually and so we did mobile. The experience was awesome! Dog is super happy and she looks great! We are excited to have them do our other fur baby. Highly recommend Bonnie and MJs!

They did a great job grooming my fur baby! The staff is very friendly and caring. The groomer meets with you and discusses what you want and takes the time to get to know your dog before she starts working with them. Love the open concept and video cameras so you can always see that they are taking great care of your fur baby! I highly recommend!

Very impressed with the time allotted us at the end of the day to educate me In how to groom our dog properly..didn't know there was a process, therefore he was a matted mess! So we had to go from Scratch and clip him entirely..and still came out looking like a cute little bald lion.....MJ was so kind and gentle with our American Eskimo even allowing him to brush his teeth! The standards are high here!??

We have just recently moved back to California from Arizona! I always check GOOGLE and YELP for reviews! That how I found MJ’s! Total 5 Star ratings! So I had to try this location! I was not disappointed at all! The ratings tell the story!I have a 35 pound mini Australian Shepherd who loves everyone! She has lots of hair, and needed a shampoo, sanitary cut, and nails clipped!! When I arrived I was met by the owner who was so polite and wonderful! Then Jennifer, one of the amazing groomers, came out and introduced herself! She took Nell to the grooming area! We were on our way after filling out some paperwork! We received a phone call about 10 minutes before she was done! We picked her up and she looked gorgeous! And she even had a new bandana on! So cute!! Her sanitary cut is what we really emphasized needed to be dealt with! And it was great!! She is so pretty! This is our new grooming spot for sure!!MJ has a mobile grooming vehicle and will come to your house too!If your fur baby needs a shampoo and a haircut this is the location fur you!!!!

Great experience! Took my mom’s dog there for grooming and some other stuff. I had taken him to other places before and this was the first time he came back not shaking and wanting to run out of the place! All the staff are pretty amazing. They are so friendly and caring and their love for animals is evident from the fact that they have 6 rescue dogs! I don’t live close but I’ll definitely be taking my cat there next time she needs grooming!

This review is one visit late. This is the second time we had Ali come in the groovy mobile grooming van to groom our little girl (happy birthday Luna 🐶) Ali is very calm and low key and this helps our baby to be relaxed. He did an EXCELLENT job of grooming our girl - and she was right outside our home. He pays attention to detail. He is great at what he does yet very humble. Couldn’t ask for better. I have been using MJ’s Pet Spa for a couple of years now. I have always had a good experience with the groomers and they have always done a great job in taking care of Sadie (a Golden Retriever). We have been using MJ’s Pet Spaw for a while now, they always do a great job and are great with my dog. We have a large pitbull breed dog and they have always been loving and accommodating with her. It is so convenient to be able to have them come right to our home, rather than taking the time to get the dog in the car, drive to a groomer, wait around for them to be done, and then get the dog back in the car and head home. Ali from MJ’s Pet Spa just shows up, parks in front of my house, my dog goes with him for an hour while I am able to go about my day at the house, and as soon as she’s done, just trots out of their van. Love the convenience, money well spent, highly recommend.

Ali was very nice and gentle with my Minnie. Her final result was amazing. I really wanted her summer clip to be short and it turned out super cool after I modified the original picture. We love MJ's mobile grooming! It's so convenient. My husband and I both work and take our dog to the office, so it's ideal for us. I feel completely safe leaving Maybelline in their care. My first time here and I don’t regret it... my little 15 year old shihtzu has had a very rough time these last few weeks with his health so starting over with a new groomer made me a bit nervous. I chose this place because it is just next door to his vet which is very convenient in case my baby got a bad episode of something. Everything went so smooth, they took such great care of him. The owner was very professional and pretty receptive to my requests. the groomer Brittni was very attentive to the needs of my dog and super friendly. What a great experience for both my dog and I. It was really a great relief to have found a safe place free of stress. I give this place a big thumb up and I will definitely come back. Oh did I mention that my baby Cashmere looked very handsome? Great job!!!

I have used the mobile service twice and have been impressed with every interaction I’ve had with MJ’s Pet Spaw. Ali is fantastic and professional! Not only does my dog look and feel amazing, Ali was so gentle and calm with him that it’s nice seeing my dog so relaxed after being groomed. My dog has had severe anxiety when going to past groomers from different companies, but you would never know that from his interactions with MJ’s staff. First time having my newly adopted dog groomed. I let Ali know my dog was scared of being bathed before hand. Ali arrived on time, was gentle with my dog even though he kept barking at him. By the end my dog was calm, clean and wore and adorable bandanna around his neck. I will definitely use them next time.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. this place is SO nice. I own a little Cardigan Welsh Corgi and she loves them. They always do an excellent job on her- she is SO fluffy, smells so nice, shes so happy and smiley when I pick her up, and they give her a little bandana! They even give you a call 15 minutes beforehand to let you know when they are almost done with the grooming. I get the regular silver bath and tidy which takes about 45 minutes. But seriously, outstanding job 🥰💜

I took my puppy here for his first sani trim and I can’t say enough great things about his experience!I spoke to Neda on the phone beforehand who was friendly and informative. When I brought him, I was nervous since I wasn’t sure how he was going to act. Neda and the staff assured me he would do great! Kyle did an excellent job with Dino and I even overheard him telling Dino how proud he was of his good behavior! It’s evident that Neda, MJ and their staff are truly compassionate about all the furry friends they get in as seen by their relationships with their regular and new customers. Dino looks great and had an enjoyable experience. I’ve already scheduled his next appointment and look forward to continuing to work with them! I highly recommend!

I have been using MJ’s Pet Spaw for a few years and they exceed my expectations every time! They are patient with my 2 golden retrievers. My older one loves water and has no problem with being bathed. However, my younger one hates water. They are always sensitive to that fact and take their time. The benefit of the mobile grooming for my younger dog is she gets less stressed. My dogs have long hair that can be difficult to groom, but they are real professionals! I would highly recommend their services!

My two dogs who are both older had truly the best haircuts and styling they’ve ever received. They are 12 years old so that should tell you something. The owner helped me and even though his schedule was packed he found a way to fit my babies in that very same morning. Price was $70 each but with all that comes with that price you will find that it’s very competitive.

MJ's turned out to be a treasure. I have lived in the area for 25 years and used several of the traditional pet supply stores for my grooming needs. This will be my go to place for now on. Reason 1: They did a great job. Reason 2: When I picked Starbuck up she was happy and did not show any of the usual signs of stress when leaving a groomers. Reason 3: Turns out MJ is a genuinely nice guy with a heart of gold for saving dogs and treating them with dignity and respect (not just a job, he loves what he does).Pros: Does great work and the dog is less stressed when using this location.Cons: A little bit more expensive, but seems to be worth it.

This was my first groom with this dog and with this company so I had an open mind and was really just hoping for the best. I chose this groomer based on reviews and that seems to be a pretty good way of doing things nowadays.I was not disappointed. I scheduled a mobile groom, and was able to do that all via text.(Love!)The day of the appointment Christina, the groomer, was right on-time, and very friendly. She was very loving toward my dog, and that is what I'm looking for. I want someone who loves animals and will treat them gently.I didn't really give her a lot of direction on how to cut him. I just wanted him shorter so he's cooler. I like to let professionals show what they can do when left with a little bit of creative license.He was done in just over an hour (Amazing!!!!) This alone is worth the price. I can't stand thinking of my dog sitting in a cage somewhere waiting or drying or whatever. He looks like a fuzzy little teddy bear and will be so much cooler.If you want to have your dog groomed close to your home, in record time, looking amazing, you know who to call. I paid a total of $100 to the salon. I'm told that is pretty average for this area.

My dogs' first trip to the "spaw" was at MJ's and it was a great experience. My dogs both came home clean, fluffed and soft, and happy. I really like that they don't kennel the dogs, and I support their practice of not putting a dog through a treatment that causes extreme anxiety. I was worried my pug's nails being clipped might be an issue but they were able to keep him calm and did a great job overall. Plus, who doesn't want a blueberry facial??? Would definitely recommend and will be back!

I’ve been taking my Oliver to MJ’s Pet Spaw for two and a half years now, and every time we go they give him a great haircut. They bathe him, trim his nails, and give him a cute haircut with an adorable bandana. The groomer always asks me exactly what I want, and she always does it perfectly. The owners and groomers are all very kind, sweet, and gentle with Oliver; which is so important to me. They are all total animal lovers, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him there for his grooming appointment. The salon is beautiful, new, and always very clean. Of course the actual grooming is important and MJ’s does a great job of really determining what I want and then executing accordingly. However, my main concern as a mom of an elderly pup is the care and treatment while I hand her over to someone other than myself. It takes a lot of trust. From the first meeting onward, I saw firsthand the extra attention and patience MJ put into making my pup feel as comfortable as possible. They don’t cage your pup “in the back,” with a bunch of other dogs screaming and barking essentially scaring your dog to pieces. They start your pups process immediately upon appointment schedule (after some TLC to put them at ease) and then hand them over immediately after completion. There is no fuss, no wasted time, and complete attention on your dog. No matter what, grooming is not my pups favorite activity, but MJ’s completes what could be a traumatizing moment for my dog in the absolute best way possible. I really found a diamond in the “ruff.” I highly highly recommend MJ’s! PS: they have a charity system where you can bring your unwanted clothes and they distribute them to less fortunate folks in Mexico. What a great cause. I can’t say enough good things about this organization.

Used the service for the first time today and I am truly impressed. Samantha was kind and took very good care of our 11.5 year old Maltese. Grooming was exceptional and in under one hour he was ready to return home.I highly recommend this service, and especially Samantha's great work, we will definitely ask for her for our next appointment. It is not the cheapest of options out there (see pricing on their site) but my dog deserves the best!

This groomer is a hidden gem! I was desperate the get my dog trimmed after another groomer cancelled my appointment without telling me. MJ’s called me as soon as a cancellation opened up and I was able to bring in my dog the very next day. My dog is only 6 months and had never had a full haircut; but he’s a doodle, so I was anxious for him to have a good first experience since he needs them frequently. He also is a bit of an anxious boy. The receptionist was great with him from the start, using a calm but happy tone of voice to ease his nervousness as I left. The dogs aren’t caged up, which means that you drop them off at a specific time and pick them up once they are done. My dog’s appointment was an hour and a half. I could see him happily sniffing another dog when I arrived. The whole place just has a very safe vibe. My dog was walked over to me and he seemed so happy! I was expecting him to want to rush out of there, but he waited by my side and wasn’t scared of the person who helped me with my payment. I was really impressed by how good they were with him. They warn you in advance that they only take cash, check, or Venmo. Using Venmo was quick and easy. If I wasn’t moving in the next month, I’d stick with these groomers forever!!

MJ’s pet spa is by far the best grooming service I’ve ever used. They’re reliable, responsive, professional and it’s obvious they care about dogs. My baby girl has been groomed by Neli and Samantha and they both did a fantastic job. I highly recommend MJ’s pet Spa!

My dog Gracie has been getting groomed by Neli with MJ’s Pet Spaw for a while now. Her cuts are always great and having them come to my home in the mobile pet grooming van is so very convenient. Gracie is a very nervous pup, especially when it comes to getting groomed, so I really appreciate how patient and thorough Neli is when dealing with her. Whenever Gracie is having her hair cut I can always relax knowing she is in safe, caring and capable hands.

Ali was friendly, thorough and gentle with my new rescue pup. This was my dog’s first grooming since we rescued him. His fur was matted and needed to be shaved. Ali made him look spectacular despite the short cut. The trim on his face was precise and I can now my dog’s sweet face! I will request Ali again for my dog’s next grooming. Highly recommend!

You can really feel the love and attention to detail as soon as you walk in here. My dog is always anxious when going to the groomers but the staff was so sweet and loving to my pup, I could tell she actually felt safer and happier here than any other groomer before. Her groom was also amazing, one of the best I’ve ever seen. MJ’s Pet Spaw is truly the best.

I found this pet spa just by a search from google and by the reviews and pictures I was immediately impressed. I called right away and the owner (MJ) told me they were fully booked till March but he would try to get me in as soon as possible. The same day I get a call from him telling me there is an open appointment February 8th. I was so appreciative of his responsiveness and eagerness the get me a spot. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the owner who was very kind and welcoming. He told me what they would be doing for my dog that day and how long it would take. It was a very short and sweet process. When I came to pick him up I was given advice from the owner on how to care for my dogs fur better which I greatly appreciated since I just rescued him from a neglected home in his past. When he was ready I was absolutely blown away on how well Melissa (the nice groomer lady) did his fur. He looked so bright white and the grooming was done perfectly. I am really touched on how much the owner and staff care for the dogs. I am so glad I choose this groomer and I will be coming back very soon! Below are a before and after photo of him:)

MJ always takes extra good care of our Labradoodle Daisy. Plus the fact that the animals are never caged is huge for me. He and his lady are big dog lovers, who even foster senior dogs about to be euthanized.Good people, good work.

We love this place. Made a huge mistake and took our golden doodle for a haircut at Petsmart because MJ‘s was all booked up. Our dog looked terrible. Never again. There is a reason that they are so busy . MJ’s is the only place we will take our dog to!

My dog(Joey) loved the experience. The owner is an animal lover and he made sure mu puppy has a good first experience. Joey is happy and clean. Couldn’t ask for more!Scheduling was somehow easy considering their packed schedule. Price is very reasonable. Staffs are friendly, professional, experienced and has the best of the pet in mind.Lots of thanks to MJ and the crew.I’d recommend this place.

Honestly such a great experience all around. From making the appointment, to the drop of off, their excellent care and service to pickup it was all pleasant specially with my anxious little dog. They make my Lucy feel comfortable and send her back to me looking beautiful in the shortest amount of time. A+ to the kindest people.

One star is one too many. I have never had the excuse that my pup has "too many mats" in between groomings and "wiggly" and needed to be shaved to 1/4 inch and less instead of the 3/4 inch I asked for. Not only was her hair cut too short, the cut was also uneven all around including the top of her head as the left is shorter than her right and her left hip is longer than her left. Her left eyelash was cut and her right eyelash was not. The eyelashes should have NEVER been touched at all.I should have known something was wrong when I had been contacted that the dematting took longer than anticipated. The groomer did not do their due diligence to create an outcome that was beneficial to both parties. I take my dog to the groomers since she turned 10 weeks every 4-5 weeks and NEVER HAVE WE EVER had any issues or had this happen. I would have rather you refused to serve me and my pup than complete the services as you and your team knew how to "groom". The grooming team have proved to be inexperienced in grooming as well as customer service and guest experience. I cannot deny the facts that this groomer continued to service me and my pup despite knowing that they would not be able to provide the best service they could for us. This is not the service requested and is not acceptable nor appropriate behavior for any client. I am not interested in monetary compensation, just a fair warning for fellow future victims of this "grooming salon".

It's very difficult to find a groomer for shelties especially in this area. They were super friendly, punctual, and attentive as he needs to use special shampoo for his skin and environmental allergies. Mj also went as far to suggest a treat company that makes treats that would help his hair and skin. They definitely took a lot out of his coat and trimmed him perfectly to his breed and in only a little over an hour. We will definitely be back!

It took some time to find the right groomer for us as our maltese is always very nervous and frightened around strangers. So, it was a miracle to find MJ here on Yelp. He was very prompt with setting up an appointment and even messaged to let us know when he was on his way. When he arrived, he asked exactly what we wanted- this is unlike most grooming places that just ask "shave or trim?" We were extremely happy with how Binky's cut turned out and were even more delighted to see that he was happy and very comfortable from start to finish (with past groomers, he usually came back very tense and traumatized). This gentleman is a complete professional and knows what he's doing! We'll see you for Binky's next cut in a few months! Thank you MJ!

I met MJ while I was walking my puppy. He was so sweet, my dog lost his mind playing with him and I enjoyed how well they connected. I called him for a bath and complete service for my GSD. He arrived with his sweet van took my puppy and an hour later I got my puppy back looking and smelling amazing! Usually my GSD coat is still kind of wet when I take him to other groomers, which is not good for them, but not this time!! MJ took his time to dry my GSD and if you have a GSD you know that they have lots of under coat/hair. I highly recommend MJ and his crew!!!

If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your pet, MJ is the right person. I recently adopted my cat from a shelter and he is still a bit shy with me. I was worried about that if this bathing experience would make my cat hate me lol. But MJ made everything easy. He helped me carrying my cat to downstairs and provided a great bathing experience to my cat. His care and sincererity made my cat feel so comfortable during the whole time, my cat was being mellow which was totally opposite than I expected! You know how cats can freak out during bathing. After all this good experience, now my cat is even cuter 🙂

Have used MJs pet spa multiple times now since the opening of his amazing mobile service. We have 2 dogs one micro Yorkie 3lbs and a 3 months old maltipoo. They love him and his assistant. MJs is AMAZING! They took such great care of my 2 dogs and even though our Golden Retrevier is exceptionally large, they took the time to make sure he was taken care of from head to tail! ...and our Jack Russell, he is usually a cryer when he doesn't see us...not a peep!
